The Scientific Program Committee invites the submission of abstracts on original work. Abstracts can be submitted for consideration for either a poster or an oral presentation. Abstracts may be submitted on topics related to therapeutic drug monitoring and clinical toxicology (thematic areas are listed below).
All accepted abstracts will be published in the IATDMCT 2019 Congress website. Eventually, submissions not accepted for oral presentation could be offered to present as a poster presentation.
Instructions to authors
Before submitting your abstract, please read the following instructions. The abstract must follow the required format and include sufficient data so that the reader can understand the study design, methods, results, and any conclusions that should be drawn from the study. Please pay particular attention to the instructions as abstracts that do not conform will not be accepted by the scientific committee.
Abstract submissions will close on Tuesday 30 April 2019.
Registration: presenting author must be registered for the conference until Sunday 30 June 2019.
Notification of acceptances/regrets: notification of the outcome of the review and acceptances will be sent to the presenting author by Friday 31 May 2019.
Instructions for General Poster Presentations
How should posters be constructed?
Posters should be prepared in portrait format (90 cm wide x 120 cm high).
Use large fonts to make your poster more readable. The following font sizes are recommended:
Title Bar: 42-48 point bold, title of study in all capitals.
Headers: 30-36 point bold (for example, Introduction, or Objectives).
Body Text: at least 20 point (should be able to read from a distance of 2 metres).

Thank you very much for presenting at IATDMCT Congress 2019. To ensure your presentation proceeds smoothly, please read the following instructions carefully.
1) PC Platform
A Windows PC platform is provided for Power Point 2007/2010/2016. Please limit presentation materials to those that can be used on this platform.
Scientific presentations and declaration of conflict of interest: All lecturers should be requested to provide one slide declaring their general potential conflicts of interest especially with regard to the diagnostics and pharmaceutical industry, for the topic they are going to speak about. This slide should include sponsor names for lecture fees, scientific advice, clinical trials and research grants.
2) Speaker Ready Room
ALL speakers please come to the Midia Desk Room (Prelúdio Room – Recanto Cataratas Thermas Resort & Convention) and inform your arrival 60 minutes before your session to start.
3) Open Hours for Uploading Presentation Slide Files
PC Desk (Midia Desk – Prelúdio Room – Recanto Cataratas Thermas Resort & Convention):
Presentation files will be uploaded at the conference PC Desk in the Midia Desk Room (Preludio Room). Please present your presentation file to the PC Desk 60 minutes prior to the beginning of the session. Test your file to confirm it has uploaded correctly.
Please come to the presentation room 15 minutes prior to the session start time of your presentation.
6) Allotted Time
Each presentation is 15 minutes (10 min presentation + 5 min discussion). Timing will be strictly regulated. Please follow the instructions of the timekeeper.
Presenters are responsible for advancing their own slides. A laser pointer is provided.
8) Presenters Using Other Platforms
Presenters using a Macintosh platform are requested to bring their own PC. Please present to the technical staff 20 minutes before your presentation. The PC must be compatible with a Mini-D-sub15pin connector (see graphic) to the projector (XGA1024×768). The presenter is responsible for their own adapter, and adapters to electrical outlets if necessary. Please remove screen savers before attaching.
